Barbara Jean Harrell

On March 27, 2021 at 9:45 p.m. Barbara Harrell went home to be with the Lord and Savior and be reunited with all her family that went before her. Her mother and father known as maw and paw, her husband Bradford L. Harrell, Sr., 1st grandson Bradford III, her brothers David, Gary, Terry and Janice Light, Charlie her sister and husband, Mary and Larry Kerns and others met her at the gate. Barbara was born on May 5, 1940 in Charleston, West Virginia. She quit school in the 8th grade to become a wife and mother. She was a stay at home mom until all the kids could take care of themselves and each other. Her brother David got her a job as a clerk at the Shop & Go Convenience Stores. In a year’s time she became a supervisor. Achieving many awards she moved to District Manager. Circle K purchased Shop & Go and retained her until she retired 5 years later. She went through several health battles through the years. She had full blown diabetic neuropathy and six way bypass as well as some oher challenges. Her faith and steadfast attitude helped her through all of these. She lost her husband Bradford L. Harrell Sr. of 49 years on November 29, 2005. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren from building blocks, gymnastics, soccer, baseball, swimming, surgery’s, birthdays and baby showers or just good family times. She was always there. In the past few years she sometime felt alone because all her siblings were gone. She has alot of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren she leaves behind with sister-in-laws and her own children Bradford L. Harrell, Jr., Deanna Horvath his daughter and great grandchildren Dianna, Brianna and Stone son Brian Lee Harrell, Brandon, Heather Critchfield and great grandchildren Bethanie, Brad Lee, Benjamin Terry Harrell and his daughter Jennifer, daughter Elizabeth Jean, Royal and husband Rick Royal, granddaughters Marybeth husband Paul, great grandchildren Brantley, Anneli, Hailey Marie Royal and Lylton Royal. Her nieces Kimberly, Dawn and Almond Wilcox with grandniece Sophie, Amanda, Ray and Paul Williams, grandnephew Ashton, Jennifer Kerns, Zachary and Nathan Taylor. Her adopted son and family Shane and Daniele Hurst, niece and nephew Kristen and Matthew Bryant, Lil, Gary and Danielle Bryant and family, Brandy and family, Aunt Lynn Bryant and Danielle and Jeremy, Paul and more than I can remember. Davis Bryant and his family. The list goes on and on. Her four friends in the world, Aubrey Dowing, Helena Sylenzki, Patsy Setzer and Jill Lee. The list goes on and on. A celebration of life will be held at her daughter and son-in-law at 21515 Hideaway Trail Brooksville, Fla. 34601 on Wednesday June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment @ Fla Nat’l Cemetery at Bushnell, Fla . 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Fla 33513 on June 23rd at 1:30.
